Baking Soda for quick and inexpensive cosmetic hack
As we know baking soda has many wonderful uses.
But what about for beauty and quick cosmetic fixes at a very low cost?
Two of my favorite uses for baking soda for beauty are:
1. In between dentist teeth cleanings, keep your teeth white and beautifully polished with baking soda. Once a week, mix up a teaspoon or less of baking soda with a dab of water to make into a paste and brush your teeth with that instead of traditional toothpaste. It deep cleans your teeth and leaves them white, polished and feeling extra clean like you just left the dentist office. It also super freshens your breath and keeps your mouth feeling clean all day long!
2. Make a facial mask with baking soda. Mix 2 tablespoons with a bit of water to form a paste and apply to face. Try not to get it into your nose or eyes. Leave the mixture on for 10-15 minutes and rinse off. This will gently exfoliate your skin and leave your skin fresh and clean. You can slightly massage it onto your face if you'd like for an added abrasive action, just dont scrub too hard.
